With a double degree in law and journalism, Temika chose to specialise in Family Law because of the personal connection she makes with clients. She joined Stewart Family Law in 2013 as an Associate, and became Associate Director in 2023. Having practised exclusively in family law since 2012, Temika is an Accredited Family Law Specialist, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Parenting Coordinator.
Working closely with clients on personal and important issues, Temika loves the opportunity to help clients with ‘something that is so close to their hearts’. She loves talking to clients, hearing their story and their experiences, and then working with them to resolve their issues.
Temika’s most rewarding client experience has been helping grandparents get the orders they sought in relation to their grandchildren living with them after their daughter had passed away – they were so very grateful and appreciative of everything she had done.

Temika practices across all areas of family law, with a passion for parenting matters and resolving family law matters with mediation and collaborative law rather than litigation where possible.
Taking a conciliatory approach, Temika is known for her organised and responsive approach to resolving client issues. She has strong drafting capabilities, drawing upon the writing skills she developed during her journalism degree.
